Danach haben wir einen Stopp bei Voodoo Doughnut in Portland eingelegt, which is the best fucking doughnut shop in the world. Es gibt Doughnuts mit vanilla, chocolate und fudge frosting, Doughnuts mit filling, Doughnuts ohne filling, Doughnuts, bestreut mit Oreos, Doughnuts mit bacon... Ja, believe it or not, bacon. Falls es die sukkergrise unter euch einmal nach Portland verschlägt, go there.

Heute waren Nao, Vanessa und ich einkaufen und da wir kein Auto haben, haben wir einen Fußweg von etwas unter zwei Stunden in Kauf genommen to get there, aber es hat sich gelohnt: Ich habe einen grey sweater und eine brown purse von Billabong gekauft. Und weil der Fußweg gar so lang war, habe ich mir ein tangerine/lime soda gegönnt, das besser war als das strawberry/kiwi soda I had had three weeks ago. Und... Nutter Butter sandwich cookies. Nom nom nom. Gut, dass mein Bruder nicht hier ist, denn er hätte wohl die ganze Packung auf einmal gegessen.
Oh, bevor ich's vergesse, am Wochenende habe ich den life cycle einer awkward turtle gelernt. It's a thing here, and I hope that by the time I get back, it'll be a thing back home, too. Anyway, it's hilarious. Here's how you do it (the awkward turtle, not its life cycle, I'll teach you that one in one of my next posts):
